EDSE & EDSV Series Dry Screw Vacuum Pump

Product Features and Applications
  • Key Features:

    • Oil-free and water-free, dry running makes clean vacuum.

    • Ultimate vacuum can reach as low as 2Pa (50Hz) and 1Pa (60Hz).

    • Quiet operation equipped with a special silencer.

    • No metal contact between the screw and casing for a long lifespan.

    • Easy operation and maintenance.

  • Capabilities: Can pump condensable vapors, and when equipped with a purging system, it can pump gas with oil vapor or residue.

  • Main Applications: Widely used in chemical application, pharmaceutical processing, solvent recovery, crystallization, vacuum coating, petroleum, and the semiconductor market.

Technical Comparisons: EDSE vs. EDSV
  • Design: EDSE is a same pitch screw pump, while EDSV is a variable pitch screw pump.

  • Vacuum Speed: EDSV reaches high vacuum more slowly than EDSE.

  • Operational Limits: EDSV cannot operate between 1ATM to 10,000 Pa for long periods due to high load. It is recommended for working vacuum degrees between 10,000 Pa and its ultimate vacuum.

  • Energy Consumption: EDSV has lower energy consumption as it approaches ultimate vacuum due to a lower load. The opposite is true for the EDSE series.

Special Model: EDSE-300A
  • The motor is separated from the gearbox, allowing for specific motor brands to be used.

  • It is small in size and suitable for industries with low vacuum requirements like plastic blister, packaging, and egg tray industries.

Material Option: Titanium Alloy
  • Purpose: Designed for special applications under strong corrosion conditions.

  • Properties: High corrosion resistance, high strength, and good stability.

  • Mechanism: A dense oxide film forms on the surface of the titanium alloy, providing strong resistance for internal parts.

  • Suitable Media: Effective for pumping hydrogen chloride, nitric acid, organic acids, alkali, and inorganic salts.
